The Swedish brand Bliz is launching two new Sports glasses onto the market. The P005 and P006 models differ in terms of design and area of use. Both glasses are now available from selected retailers and at bliz.com.
The P006 is designed for racing cyclists. It utilises a half-frame design which, according to the manufacturer, is intended to reduce air resistance. The biggest advantage of a half-frame: when looking back at the road on a racing bike, there is no frame to obstruct your field of vision. The frame material is polyamide. The goggles have a ventilation system designed to ensure air circulation during intensive sessions. Cylindrical polycarbonate lenses are also used here, which can be changed.
The P005 is the more stable model with a full rim construction - the frame completely encloses the lenses. The model is designed for off-road use: whether on a gravel bike, biking or trail running. The frame is made of polyamide. The cylindrical Glasses can be exchanged and adapted to different lighting conditions. A 2-step hinge mechanism connects the temple ends to the frame.
Both models use polycarbonate lenses with multiple coatings. The hydrophobic technology is designed to repel water and rain. One Anti-fog coating The manufacturer claims that the anti-scratch technology prevents the lenses from fogging up and protects them from scratches. The lenses are ventilated and offer 100 per cent UV protection. Adjustable nose pads enable adaptation to different face shapes. The temple tips are made of friction rubber and can also be adjusted. This design is intended to keep the goggles securely on the head even during fast movements or long sessions. The P005 is aimed at riders on demanding trails who require stability and comfort. The P006 is aimed at athletes who prioritise speed and efficiency. Both models are supplied with a padded bag. Accessory lenses are available for both goggles.
