Virtual roller training app: with millions of like-minded people on Zwift

Apps for indoor cycling training turn monotonous training into a fun ride that provides more motivation during the winter months. We have taken a look at the most popular apps and listed the most important information. Here we present the classic Zwift.

With more than two million users and more than one million active subscribers, the classic app continues to lead the market. The very active community forms the heart of the platform. Like-minded training partners can be found on Zwift at any time of day or night. An organised race starts every five to ten minutes. If you don't fancy a race but still want to push yourself to the limit, you can join a pacer group, where the so-called RoboPacers lead groups at different intensity levels throughout the day.

The app also offers plenty of other ways to organise your training effectively: With the training plans on offer, you can improve your general fitness, train systematically for an event or increase your FTP. Individualised plans can also be imported from various third-party providers such as TrainingPeaks. This should give users the opportunity to bundle all their training in one place.

The Zwift routes are just as varied as the company you are travelling with. The range currently includes 12 worlds and over 120 individual routes. From climbing rides to underwater tunnels, everything is included here.
