Backroad GRX RX810 Di2 1x11 Limited
The Rose Backroad (here in the TOUR test) in its 13 variants is one of the best-selling gravel bikes. The Rose gravel bike should also be suitable for bikepacking tours: A total of three bottle cages can be attached to the frame. There is also a holder on the bottom bracket that can be used for a mini toolbox, and there are attachment points for a bag on the top tube. There are also two mounts for additional luggage on the backroad fork.

Reveal Plus 105
The Reveal Plus 105 e-road bike (here in the TOUR test) from Rose is based on the best-selling marathon bike of the same name, the Reveal. The riding position on the electrically assisted version is somewhat sportier than on the very upright Marathon model. In addition, there are only five instead of seven frame sizes, which are significantly coarser. The bike is powered by a Mahle X20 rear hub motor with a maximum of 250 watts of assistance and a battery capacity of 250 watt hours. The less expensive of the two available equipment variants includes a Shimano 115-speed mechanical groupset with robust aluminium wheels - an inexpensive, reliable and durable set-up.

Reveal AL 105 Di2
We already had the Rose Reveal AL with Ultegra equipment mid 2023 in the test. One of the bike's convincing features was its impeccably finished frame with polished weld seams. The only visible welds were on the bottom bracket and rear triangle, revealing the Reveal to be an aluminium model. For Black Friday 2024, the Reveal AL with electronic Shimano 105 is available at a reduced price.

Evoc Bike Packing Bags
The Evoc set (here in the TOUR test) is extremely small, except for the frame pocket; it is only suitable for a multi-day tour to a limited extent. The relatively stiff material is waterproof, only the roll and zip fasteners let a little through in heavy rain. The Boa fastenings on the saddle and handlebar bag work perfectly. Textiles get caught on the Velcro fasteners when packing.

Our price-performance tip from our big cycling shorts test. The Northwave Hammer Plus is a gravel cycling shoe. This means that the shoe is designed for an off-road pedalling system.
