Santini Cycling, the renowned Italian manufacturer of cycling clothing, is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2025. To mark this anniversary, the company is organising a two-day festival on 20 and 21 June at the company premises in Bergamo. The free event is open to all cycling enthusiasts and offers a varied programme. In addition to group rides, live music and talks by cycling legends, visitors can visit an exhibition on the company's history. The highlight is the presentation of a limited anniversary collection inspired by legendary teams of the past. Pietro Santini founded the company in 1965 out of his passion for cycling. Today, Santini Cycling is run by his daughters Monica and Paola and exports cycling clothing all over the world. The anniversary festival is intended to emphasise the company's connection with the city of Bergamo and the international cycling community.

Versatile festival programme for cycling fans

The festivities will kick off on Friday 20 June at 6 pm with live music and a food and drink area. A night-time gravel ride in cooperation with Reverb through the surroundings of Bergamo will begin at 7 pm. On Saturday, a road bike tour, yoga sessions and talks on nutrition and health are on the programme from 9am. On Saturday evening, visitors can look forward to exciting talks with experienced bikepacking experts and a high-calibre panel discussion on the topic of "The professional cyclist: six decades in comparison". The guests include well-known names such as Gianni Motta, Gianbattista Baronchelli and Joaquim "Purito" Rodriguez. Prior registration is required for some programme items such as the rides.

Anniversary exhibition with works of art and historic bikes

On both evenings, Santini will open the doors to a special exhibition on the company premises from 6 pm. Four original paintings by artist Luca Di Maggio will be presented in the atrium, each combined with a historic racing bike. The exhibits include a Bianchi Specialissima Professionale from 1973, which Felice Gimondi gave to Pietro Santini after his World Championship victory, and the revolutionary Look KG86 carbon bike by Bernard Hinault from 1986. In a second exhibition area, the artist Simone Tribuiani is showing six paintings inspired by historical photographs. They recount important moments in the company's history, such as the introduction of Lycra shorts by Maria Rosa Fumagalli or the long-standing partnership with the UCI for the rainbow jerseys of the world champions.

Limited anniversary collection honours legendary teams

To celebrate its 60th anniversary in style, Santini is launching a limited-edition anniversary collection. The black and white design pays homage to company founder Pietro Santini's passion for Juventus Turin and the iconic jersey of Team Peugeot, the first international team to be kitted out by Santini. The pattern of the collection combines elements of eight legendary teams that have shaped the history of Santini and cycling: Peugeot, La Vie Claire, Sammontana, Mercatone Uno, Gatorade, Team Z, ADR and Raleigh Banana. In addition to a technical jersey and a cycling cap, the collection also includes exclusive T-shirts and fan merchandise such as a scarf with portraits of Pietro Santini and his wife Maria Rosa. The anniversary collection will be available from 18 June in Santini stores and online at www.santinicycling.com. With this special event and the special collection, Santini Cycling is honouring six decades of passion for cycling and at the same time looking to the future of the company.
