Update from 30/07/2025: Canyon is now bringing its MyCanyon bike customisation programme to Europe. There are numerous paint finish options and equipment variants to choose from. Customisation is based on a co-creation approach with a selection of premium components.
The MyCanyon programme initially focuses on the Aeroad CFR models, which can be configured via the Canyon website or the Canyon app. Customisation takes place in three main areas: Fit, Function and Aesthetics:
Adjustment of comfort by adapting the saddle and stem length to suit the sitting position
Individually selectable gear group, wheelset and tyre combinations
The frame can be chosen from three artwork collections: Fabrio, Mano or Opus by Elena Salmistraro and Felipe Pantone. There is a total of 14 designs to choose from, supplemented by the option of a personalised name sticker
The customised dream bike can be configured via the Canyon website or the Canyon app. The user interface has a 3D augmented reality feature that makes it possible to experience the desired configuration in different views and perspectives. New component options have also been added to the programme with the European launch. These include new handlebar drops that enable a lower, more compact position and, according to Canyon, can save up to 14 watts. New wheel options are also available.
You can choose between the Zipp 454 NSW or DT Swiss ARC 1100 wheels. The latter have an undulating Sawtooth rim shape with a depth of 53 to 58 millimetres, 23 millimetres internal width for wider tyres, ZR1 SL hubs with ceramic bearings and 66 cogging points for fast power transmission. According to the manufacturer, the new wheels are 30 grams lighter than the previous model. Canyon's customisation philosophy is based on clearly structured selection options according to the motto "class instead of mass".
MyCanyon's customisation options are currently available exclusively for Aeroad CFR bikes. Prices start at €10,499, with additional costs depending on the design effort and component selection. Orders can be placed immediately on the Canyon website.
With the new custom programme, Canyon is returning to its roots, so to speak. After all, company founder Roman Arnold once started out with a small garage shop in which he offered customised bodies for his customers. "We sold 300 customised bikes a year from the garage," recalls the 61-year-old: "I assembled them after school and in my free time in the evenings." Canyon is not the first manufacturer with its own custom programme. Orbea, Pinarello, Ridley, Storck and Trek, among others, also offer their models for customisation.
