In October, a bicycle trade fair for handmade bikes once again attracted numerous bicycle enthusiasts and lovers of detail to Dresden Airport. Bespoked took place there for the third time, inspiring visitors with its impressive exhibits
While many people are on their way to Bespoked in Dresden, I'm lying in bed with a bad cold and a heavy heart. How I was looking forward to exciting bikes and parts, bikepacking bags and seeing some people again. I followed the events via Instagram stories. Although I was conspicuous by my absence, I wanted to report on the bike fair for handmade bikes, which was being held at Dresden Airport for the third time.
BESPOKED Dresden 2025 attracted more than 6,000 custom bike enthusiasts, equalling the previous year's visitor numbers.
The first few hours of Bespoked are quieter, the trade fair is only open to the press and content creators. Then from 4 pm for everyone. On the first evening, an important point is on the programme: the presentation of the Bespoked Awards. For each category, the organisers have put one person in charge of making the decision for the award. Bikepacking.com, for example, was allowed to present the award for the best touring bike, while the best road bike was chosen by RAW Cycling Magazine. Here we show the whole range of winning bikes:
On the following days, the winning bikes and products are clearly recognisable with their award ribbon. Visitors take a close look at bikes and products and where there is something to touch, they not only look but also feel.
If you want to feel even more, you can even get a tattoo. Many people gratefully accepted this offer.
Next year, another location will be added, then there will be a Bespoked in the UK, where the trade fair originated, a Bespoked in Germany and a third in Japan. So far, only the dates for the UK have been confirmed: 24 to 26 April 2026 in Peckham, England. Fingers crossed that no cold gets in the way next year.
