Maximilian Dörnbach from Track Team Brandenburg successfully defended his title in the 1000 metre time trial at the German Track Cycling Championships in Cottbus.

The Cottbus native won in 1:02.144 minutes ahead of Willy Weinrich (TSV Breitenworbis/1:02.517) and Marc Jurcyzk (Turbine Erfurt/1:02.889). In the women's team sprint, the Brandenburg track team led by multiple world champions Pauline Grabosch, Emma Hinze and Lea Sophie Friedrich won and also defended the title as expected.

In the women's team pursuit, a mixed team led by Olympic team champion Franziska Brauße from Eningen was the fastest. In the men's race, the rad-net Oßwald team led by individual champion Nicolas Heinrich (Zwickau) continued its winning streak. As recently, the team competitions were sparsely populated.
