The 2026 UCI race calendar confirms the dates for the races organised by the A.S.O. in Germany. The Deutschland Tour will take place from 19 to 23 August and the first stage location has already been determined.

The UCI published the race calendar for 2026 and confirmed the dates of the events organised by the A.S.O. in Germany. The Deutschland Tour will be held from 19 to 23 August 2026 and will thus remain in the proven August schedule. The five-day stage race is part of the UCI ProSeries, the second-highest category in international cycling after the WorldTour. This classification guarantees the participation of international professional teams and secures the event's status as Germany's most important stage race.

The August date positions the Deutschland Tour after the Tour de France and before the autumn classics. However, it also overlaps next year with the Vuelta a España - the third Grand Tour of the year, which runs from 22 August to 13 September 2026.

Schwäbisch Hall as premiere host

Schwäbisch Hall has been confirmed as the first stage city of the Deutschland Tour for 2026 and is thus celebrating its premiere. The historic old town in Baden-Württemberg will play a dual role in the race: On 20 August, it will serve as the finish of the first stage, with the second stage starting from there one day later. This constellation offers the riders the opportunity to recover after the opening stage without having to change locations. At the same time, the region benefits from two race days with corresponding media attention. Further host cities will follow in the coming weeks, which will jointly define the complete route of the five stages.

Further A.S.O. races in Germany in 2026

The dates for the other races organised by A.S.O. in Germany are also fixed. Eschborn-Frankfurt will remain on 1 May, this time on a Friday. The Cyclassics Hamburg will take place on 16 August, the Sunday before the start of the Deutschland Tour.
