Jonas Vingegaard hat seinen Vertrag bei Jumbo-Visma verlängert.
Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard has prematurely extended his contract with Dutch cycling team Jumbo-Visma by three years until 2027.

The 26-year-old Dane has been driving for Jumbo-Visma. After finishing second in the 2021 Tour de France, he took overall victory in the world's most important cycling race last year ahead of superstar Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates). The two captains are likely to go head-to-head again this year.

Vingegaard comments on new contract with Jumbo-Visma

"I've had a fantastic journey with the team, who have supported me every year to become the rider I am today. I appreciate the quality of the team, the people here and I feel at home. (...) We will definitely reach a higher level together," Vingegaard was quoted as saying in the team's statement. He wants to win more Tour victories in the next five years.
