Who has regenerated best and will be at the start line in Pau with the most reserves? Unspectacular at first glance, the 22-kilometre time trial course may yet present an obstacle that could prove decisive in the final standings of the women's Tour de France. After nine flat kilometres at the start, the 2.3-kilometre climb to the small municipality of Bosdarros still stands in the way and it also gets steep again in Pau just before the finish.
"A time trial on the final day is particularly exciting! However, this special discipline will not please all riders in the battle for overall victory equally. A stage that could shake up the podium once again."
