Gregor Mühlberger siegt in Winterberg
Austrian Gregor Mühlberger has won the second stage of the Tour of Germany.
The 29-year-old crossed the finish line in Winterberg with a lead of ten seconds after 201.3 kilometres ahead of the Spaniard Alex Aranburu and the American Kevin Vermaerke.
Deutschland Tour 2023: Nils Politt best German on stage 2
Nils Politt was the best German rider in seventh place, Georg Zimmermann finished the stage in eighth place.
On Saturday, the pros move from the Sauerland to the Ruhr region. 173.8 undulating kilometres between Arnsberg and Essen are on the programme. A preliminary decision could already be made then. The tour ends on Sunday after a final stage from Hanover to Bremen.
