Radprofi Pascal Ackermann hat die vierte Etappe der Polen-Rundfahrt gewonnen.
After almost two years, German sprinter Pascal Ackermann has won the World Tour again.

The rider from the Palatinate won the fourth stage of the Tour of Poland over 179.4 kilometres from Lesko to Sanok in a bunch sprint. Second and third place went to the Belgian Jordi Meeus from the German Bora-Hansgrohe team and the Italian Jonathan Milan. Colombian Sergio Higuita, riding for Bora, continues to lead the overall standings.

Ackermann ends long dry spell at Tour of Poland

Ackermann, who has been riding for Tadej Pogacar's UAE team since this season, won his last World Tour victory in August 2020 at the Tour of Spain.

The 28-year-old was out of action in the spring due to a fracture to his coccyx.
