Every day, the Tour de France writes stories and delivers countless pictures from the best sports photographers. The TOUR picture editor has fished the best photos from the second week of the race out of the archives.

What we saw: the first Tour stage win for the Norwegian team Uno-X Mobility, a demonstrator on the finishing straight, the astonishing superiority of Tadej Pogacar, a German in the white jersey of the best young pro and a public holiday for a worker in the peloton. See for yourself.
