One day after Phil Bauhaus' second place, German sprinter Pascal Ackermann also narrowly missed out on a stage win at the Tour of Poland.
Belgian stage win at Tour of Poland
On the second stage after 205.6 kilometres from Chelm to Zamosc, the rider from the Palatinate was only beaten by the Belgian Gerben Thijssen.
Third place went to the Italian Jonathan Milan. Max Kanter took eighth place. Dutchman Olav Kooij remains first overall. The Tour of Poland ends on 5 August in Krakow.
