The enthusiasm for road cycling in the region is definitely great and numerous hobby and club cyclists welcome guests and holidaymakers on their rides. You quickly become part of a local group and enjoy rides together with cappuccino breaks and marvellous views. After just a few kilometres, you are no longer a stranger. Most of the rides are on minor roads with little traffic and have been planned with great attention to detail by the racing bike professionals from Team Felbermayr Simplon and the local racing cyclists.

Over small roads, over hills, the mountains always in view, flat, hilly or mountainous. Short laps, long rides in all directions: To the Danube, to the Innviertel, to Lake Attersee in the Limestone Alps - anything is possible. After each round, you roll back, from the countryside into the city, into Wels.
