As the crowning addition to its Racing Series, Vision presents the METRON 45-60 RS CS SILVER EDITION. This limited edition wheel series represents the most technically sophisticated expansion stage of the RS platform.
It is a tribute to the METRON Racing Series (RS), the symbol of Vision's new era in high-performance full carbon wheels. For this project, a partner was chosen who shares the same passion for performance and technical expertise: CeramicSpeed.
The collaboration is based on shared values: the relentless pursuit of maximum efficiency, full control over the manufacturing process and a deep rootedness in professional sport. While the RS platform is already the most advanced wheelset in Vision's history, the Silver Edition adds an extra layer of technical and aesthetic exclusivity to this package.
For years, Vision has honoured its flagship models with a special "Silver" edition. In this case, they have opted for a special technical enhancement: the integration of CeramicSpeed bearings handmade in Denmark to minimise friction losses and perfect power transmission.
The foundation: The METRON RS platform
The METRON 45-60 RS CS SILVER EDITION is based on the same technical architecture as the RS platform launched last year, which marked a milestone for Vision in terms of road performance.

- 23 mm inner rim width, optimised for tyres from 28 mm width
- New V-1000 hub with 72T PRS technology (5° pressure angle)
- Aero carbon bladed spokes (direct pull) with 2:1 lacing
- Handmade and assembled entirely by hand
- In-mould graphics, integrated during lamination
- Tubeless Ready clincher system
- Centrelock brake disc mount
Compared to the previous SL platform, the RS series offers
- Up to 9 % improved aerodynamics

The exclusive upgrade: CeramicSpeed bearings
The centrepiece of the METRON RS CS SILVER EDITION is the integration of CeramicSpeed bearings. These were manufactured with a specific bearing clearance to harmonise perfectly with the Vision V-1000 hubs.
Every bearing is:
- Handmade in Denmark
- Equipped with extremely smooth silicon nitride balls (grade 3), which are selected with micrometre precision
- Combined with hardened steel races and highly polished grooves
- Guided by a reinforced polyamide cage for maximum stability under load
- Optimised with CeramicSpeed Allround-Grease (low viscosity)
- Protected by non-contact seals that minimise friction without neglecting protection against dirt and moisture
The result is exceptionally low friction, more direct power transmission and a longer service life - additionally backed by a 4-year warranty.
