Nimbl launches the Ultimate Exceed Pro Giro 2026 as a limited edition. The racing shoe is modelled on the Passo Giau, one of the most famous climbs of the Giro d'Italia. The design picks up on the Maglia Rosa in bright pink, combined with black and white gradients. 2,000 pairs will be produced worldwide. The shoe costs 599 euros and is available to order now.

The limited edition is based on the Ultimate Exceed Pro platform from Nimbl and builds on the manufacturer's proven platform, which has already established itself with professional athletes. The carbon monocoque chassis forms the centrepiece of the shoe and is designed to ensure optimum power transmission, while the low weight of 192 grams per shoe in size 43 can be particularly advantageous on longer climbs. The sole thickness of less than two millimetres enables a direct connection to the pedal. The revised ventilation system with strategically placed perforations is designed to ensure effective air circulation and keep feet cool even at high temperatures or under intense strain. The BOA Li2 fastening system with cotton lacing guides allows precise adjustments to the fit and should ensure lasting comfort even on long rides. The universal compatibility with various click systems offers flexibility in the choice of pedals.

Colour scheme and design

Pink is at the centre of the colour scheme and references the Maglia Rosa of the Giro d'Italia. Black and white gradients complement the look and are intended to reflect the changing light conditions in the mountains. The upper features details that emphasise Nimbl's connection to the Giro d'Italia.

Availability and price

Nimbl is producing 2,000 pairs of the Ultimate Exceed Pro Giro 2026. The shoe is available now and will be delivered in May. It will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. In Europe, the shoe costs 599 euros.
