European Championships 2022: BDR announces squad

Ackermann and Bauhaus had each recently won a stage at the Tour of Poland. Classics specialists John Degenkolb and Nils Politt as well as Nico Denz, Alexander Krieger, Michael Schwarzmann and Roger Kluge are also in the line-up.

The BDR line-up for the men's road race

In the women's race on 21 August, the German squad will be led by Olympic track cycling champion Lisa Brennauer, who ended her career in Munichand the European Championship silver medallist Liane Lippert.

Brennauer and Lisa Klein are scheduled to take part in the women's individual time trials on 17 August, as are Max Walscheid and Miguel Heidemann in the men's race.
